Title: Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
 
SLPA Job Details
Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
Caseload: Elementary
 
SLPA Job requirements 
  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or completion of an SLPA certification program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as an SLPA
  • Experience in a school setting.
  • The ability to work in the U.S. Without a sponsor

SLPA Responsibilities: 
  • Provide direct speech-language services to students as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist with the implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans.
  • Document student progress, maintain service logs, and prepare reports for review by the supervising SLP.
  • Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling sessions.
  • Support data collection and assessment activities under supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Follow all federal, state, and district regulations related to special education and therapy services.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

Drew is a seasoned executive with more than 13 years of Services & Recruitment experience. Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
