Special Education Teacher
$48–$54/hr | Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year | James Island, SC

Make a real impact in a supportive school setting. We're hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year in James Island, SC.
Position Overview
  • Location: James Island, SC (options for other locations as well!)
  • Dates: August 2026 –June 2027
  • Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person | Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week
  • Caseload: Elementary, Middle, or High School - Resource or Self-Contained options available
  • Pay: $48–$54/hour
Requirements
  • Active SC Special Education Teaching License (Multi-Categorical preferred)
  • School-based or relevant experience strongly preferred

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
