Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Aurora, MN Area

Position Type: Full-Time, 2026–2027 School Year

Start Date: August 2026 (aligned with district calendar)

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students with a variety of needs
  • Collaborate with special education teachers, general education staff, related service providers, and families
  • Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and school participation skills
  • Adapt classroom environments, materials, and activities to improve student access and engagement
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and data collection
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting
  • Provide training and strategies to staff and caregivers to support student success

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Minnesota
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Knowledge of IDEA and special education processes
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively within a team environment
