Special Education Teacher —Elementary Autism Classrooms (K–4)
Massachusetts
$45–$55+/hour (DOE)
ASAP –June 12, 2026
Full-time | ~36.25 hrs/week
Hiring 2 Teachers (K–1 and Grades 2–4)

About the Role
Join a small, sub-separate program supporting elementary students with autism. You’ll deliver targeted instruction, implement IEPs, and collaborate with a tight-knit team to promote communication, independence, and daily living skills.

  • K–1 Sub-Separate (Autism)

  • Grades 2–4 Sub-Separate (Autism)

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement IEP-aligned instruction across academics, behavior, and life skills

  • Use data to guide decisions and adjust supports

  • Partner closely with gen ed, related services, and classroom support staff

  • Maintain thorough documentation;participate in IEP meetings and family communication

  • Foster a structured, safe, and inclusive learning environment

What You’ll Need

  • MA Special Education teaching license (or eligibility)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education or related field

  • Experience in autism support/sub-separate settings preferred

  • Strong classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)

Position Details

  • Type: Contract (renewal potential)

  • Caseload: Small, autism-focused sub-separate classrooms (K–4)

  • Interviews: Typically within 24–48 hours
