School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) –Winchester, MA Area
ASAP Start | Through June | Part-Time (0.7) | $40–$50/hr+ (Negotiable)
Monday–Friday | 10: 00 AM–2: 30 PM (Ideal Schedule)

Phaxis Education is actively hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) for an immediate need in the Winchester, MA area. This position will support early learners at the elementary/preschool level through the end of the school year (June).

We’re looking for a strong clinician who enjoys supporting functional independence, fine/visual motor development, and sensory needs in a school setting.
Position Details

  • Location: Winchester, MA (and surrounding area)

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: Through June

  • Schedule: Ideally Monday–Friday, 10: 00 AM–2: 30 PM

  • Service Model:

    • Pull-out

    • Push-in

    • Self-contained support as needed

  • Student Population:

    • Direct services for ages 3–5

    • Evaluations for students ages 2.8 through 5

  • Caseload: Up to 20 learners

    • Needs include Fine Motor + Visual Motor

    • Some sensory support needs
OT Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy services to preschool students (ages 3–5)

  • Conduct evaluations/assessments (ages 2.8–5)

  • Support student development in:

    • Fine motor skills

    • Visual motor integration

    • Sensory regulation

    • Functional classroom participation

  • Collaborate with school staff and related service teams

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in alignment with school-based requirements
Requirements

  • Massachusetts OT License required

  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • New grads may be considered (case-by-case)

  • Onsite only (no hybrid/virtual at this time)
Pay Rate
$40–$50/hr+ (Negotiable based on experience)

  • Can begin with a virtual first conversation, but team will require an onsite interview

  • Interview availability: flexible during school hours (8: 00 AM –2: 00 PM)
