Location: Scarsdale, New York
Pay Rate: Up to $70 / hour

As a school-based Clinical Psychologist in Scarsdale, New York,
your days will include

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for preschool-aged children.

  • Develop and implement behavior plans and interventions tailored to individual student needs.

  • Provide counseling and crisis support for students with behavioral, cognitive, or emotional challenges.

  • Collaborate closely with teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists in classroom-based teams.

  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.

  • Maintain documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.

Job Details
Position: Contract –2025–2026 Academic Year in a school setting
Hours:

  • Monday / Tuesday / Thursday: 8: 30 AM –3: 00 PM

  • Wednesday: 8: 30 AM –3: 30 PM

  • Friday: 8: 30 AM –2: 30 PM

Caseload: Preschool students ages 3–5 with speech/language impairments, cognitive delays, behavioral needs, and other developmental challenges. Classrooms operate under 8: 1: 2 and 12: 1: 2 staffing models to ensure individualized attention and developmental support.

Successful Candidates Possess

  • A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program (required)

  • New York State licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain (required)

  • Experience in early childhood, developmental disabilities, or school-based settings (preferred)

  • Strong communication, assessment, and team collaboration skills

  • The ability to work in the U.S. Without a sponsor

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.
