Location: Onamia, MN

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job Details
Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
Hours: Full-Time Monday - Friday during the school day
Caseload: 1: 1 with a High School student  
 
Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job Requirements 
  • Active LPN or RN Licensure 
  • Experience in a school setting and with pediatric-aged students
  • Feeding tube and Stoma Bag experience required 
  • The ability to work in the U.S. Without a sponsor

School Nurse Job Duties 
  • Provide continuous, individualized medical care to a designated student throughout the school day
  • Monitor and manage the student’s specific health condition(s) as outlined in their Individualized Healthcare Plan (IHP) or IEP
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, or procedures (e.G., G-tube feeding, seizure management, tracheostomy care)
  • Accompany the student to all classes, activities, and transportation as needed to ensure safety and health oversight
  • Document all care provided, including medication administration, observations, and interventions
  • Communicate regularly with school staff, parents/guardians, and medical providers to ensure consistent care coordination
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow appropriate protocols
  • Support the student’s participation in the educational environment while maintaining health and safety standards
  • Ensure proper infection control practices are followed at all times
  • Other Duties as assigned

Drew is a seasoned executive with more than 13 years of Services & Recruitment experience. In that time, he has supported numerous Fortune 100/500/1000 organizations across industries by providing global workforce solutions, namely resources and thought leadership for large-scale projects, implementations, and managed services.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
