Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Lawrenceville, VA
Pay Rate: $40 –$50 / hour (Negotiable for experienced candidates)

As a school-based Occupational Therapist in Lawrenceville, VA, your days will include:

  • Providing therapy services for students across ECSE/Pre-K through 12th grade.

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 50–60 students with diverse needs.

  • Collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success.

  • Maintaining compliance with IEP goals and state/district special education regulations.

  • Participating in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences.
Job Details

  • Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting

  • Start/End Date: ASAP –May 20, 2026

  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

  • Caseload: 50–60 students, school-wide support (ECSE/PK–12th grade)

  • Interview Timeline: Virtual interviews available ASAP

  • Flexibility: Hybrid candidates may be considered
Successful Candidates Possess

  • Certification as an Occupational Therapist (required)

  • Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Note: New graduates will be considered

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
