Location: Haverhill, MA
Pay Rate: $50 –$60+ / hour (negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate opening in Haverhill, MA. This is a school-based contract position in an urban district with a strong sense of community and diverse student needs.
Job Details

  • Position: Contract (ASAP start, end date TBD)

  • Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday

  • Classroom Setting: Substantially Separate

  • Grade Level: Elementary

  • Caseload: 30–35 students

  • Interview Timeline: Virtual interviews ASAP

  • Onsite Only: Virtual or hybrid candidates not accepted
Successful Candidates Possess

  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders (required)

  • Active MA Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)

  • Ability to supervise SLPAs (required)

  • Experience with AAC (required)

  • School-based or pediatric experience (preferred)

  • New graduates considered depending on clinical supervision and prior experience
Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students in substantially separate settings

  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and document progress in compliance with state and district requirements

  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student communication goals

  • Support and supervise SLPAs as appropriate

  • Implement AAC strategies and tools to enhance student access and participation
