Pay: Competitive & negotiable (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time and part-time options available
Start Date: ASAP (immediate openings)

Phaxis Education is currently seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for school-based opportunities in Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas. This is a great fit for experienced RBTs who are passionate about supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs in a structured school setting.

Position Overview
As an RBT in a school setting, you’ll work directly with students who may need support with:

  • Behavior regulation and social-emotional skills

  • Communication and coping strategies

  • Task completion and classroom participation

  • Transition support and structured routines

RBTs are typically paired with students through 1: 1 support, small group support, or classroom-based coverage depending on need.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct 1: 1 and/or small group behavioral support to assigned students

  • Implement behavior plans developed by a BCBA or school team

  • Collect and document data on student behavior and progress

  • Support students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement

  • Use positive reinforcement strategies and proactive behavior supports

  • Work closely with teachers, special education teams, and related services staff

  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and consistent communication
Required Qualifications
Active RBT Certification required

  • Must be in good standing through the BACB

  • Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred

  • Reliable, professional, and consistent with attendance

  • Comfortable supporting students with behavioral needs (including escalation support if required)

We offer strong compensation and pay is based on:

  • RBT experience level

  • School-based vs. Clinical background

  • Assignment intensity / student profile

  • Schedule flexibility and urgency
