Behavior Technicians / Registered Behavior Technicians (2 openings) —Acton, MA
Pay: $30–$35/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri 8: 30a–3: 30p;Wed 8: 30a–12: 50p (≈30 hrs/week;lunch per district policy)
Start: ASAP
Setting: Onsite only
About the Role
Join a specialized school program supporting students with social–emotional disabilities. You’ll work in a mix of 1: 1 and small-group settings, providing consistent behavioral support in both specialized and inclusion classrooms. This is a great fit if you’re calm under pressure, collaborative, and passionate about student growth.
What You’ll Do

  • Implement behavior support plans and collect daily data

  • Provide proactive de-escalation, redirection, and skill building

  • Support access to academics alongside classroom teachers and related service providers

  • Collaborate with BCBAs, special educators, and school teams

  • Maintain safety plans and follow crisis-prevention protocols
You Have

  • Experience in behavioral support or ABA settings (school-based experience preferred)

  • SafetyCare training preferred (CPI or equivalent a plus)

  • Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills

  • RBT credential welcomed but not required (both BT and RBT considered)

  • Comfort supporting behaviors including work refusal, elopement, and possible aggression
