Up to $53/hr | Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year | Mount Pleasant, SC

Make a real impact in a supportive school setting. We're hiring an ASL Interpreter for the 2026–2027 school year in Mount Pleasant, SC.
Position Overview
  • Location: Mount Pleasant, SC –schools in the area
  • Dates: August 2026 –June 2027
  • Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person | Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week
  • Caseload: K-12, multiple school sites
  • Required: EIPA 3.5+ and RID (SC LLR or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities:
  • Provide real-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom and school settings
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers to support full access to instruction and activities
  • Interpret a variety of content including academic instruction, discussions, and school events
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and student success
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards while documenting services as required
