About the Role
Phaxis Education is seeking two Special Education Teachers to join a compassionate, ABA-based program supporting PreK–1 students with moderate to severe disabilities in Ludlow, MA.
Each classroom maintains a 2: 1 to 1: 1 student-to-staff ratio and serves fewer than ten students, ensuring a highly individualized approach.

The ideal candidates will provide specialized instruction, implement IEP goals, collaborate closely with related service providers and BCBAs, and create a nurturing, structured environment that promotes growth and independence.
Position Details

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: End of School Year (June 2026 preferred)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35–37.5 hours per week

  • Caseload: Substantially separate classrooms, 2: 1–1: 1 ratio

  • Student Population: Students with autism, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays

  • Responsibilities Include:

    • Delivering IEP-aligned instruction using ABA principles

    • Collaborating with BCBAs, paraprofessionals, and support staff

    • Supporting communication goals through AAC use

    • Managing toileting/lifting as needed

    • Maintaining accurate data and progress reporting
Qualifications

  • Required:

    • MA DESE Special Education Teacher License (PreK–8 preferred)

    • Experience working in sub-separate or ABA-based settings

  • Preferred:

    • CPI or Safety Care certification

    • Experience with AAC systems and behavior plans

  • Not accepting new grads;prior experience required

  • Onsite only —No virtual/hybrid options
