Title: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
Location: Elizabeth, Colorado
Pay Rate: Up to $50+ / hour (negotiable for the right candidate)

As a school-based Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Elizabeth, Colorado,
your days will include

  • Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments.

  • Develop and implement individualized instructional plans aligned with each student’s IEP.

  • Support the development of Braille literacy, use of assistive technology, orientation and mobility skills, and access to the general education curriculum.

  • Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families.

  • Document student progress and ensure compliance with district and state regulations.

Job Details
Position: Contract –2025–2026 Academic Year in a school setting
Hours: Part-time (3.5 hours/day, Monday –Friday)
Caseload & Grade Levels: Serving multiple caseloads and age groups (PreK–5th Grade)

Successful Candidates Possess

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Visual Impairment Education (required)

  • An active or pending Colorado state TVI certification, or the ability to obtain (required)

  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)

  • The ability to work in the U.S. Without a sponsor

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.
