Title: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC or CFY) 
Location: Salem, OR

Phaxis Education is actively hiring a full-time Speech Therapist to join a supportive school district in the Salem, OR area. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact helping students succeed while working in a collaborative and well-resourced environment.
 
Speech Language Pathologist Position Details:
  • Position Type: Full-time preferred (part-time applicants accepted)
  • Caseload: Elementary and middle school (K–8), based on experience and district need
  • Location Type: Onsite preferred;hybrid available (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
  • Location: Salem, OR must be commutable
Job Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Oregon State SLP License (or ability to obtain before start)
  • ASHA CCC preferred, Clinical Fellow candidates welcome and encouraged to apply
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
Job Responsibilities, School-Based SLP:
  • Evaluate students for speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement compliant IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K–8th grade students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service logs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and student support teams
  • Follow IDEA and district guidelines for service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
