Special Education Teacher –Gardner, MA | $45–$55+/hr | 2025–2026 School Year Location: Gardner, MA Pay Rate: $45–$55+ per hour Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week Start Date: August 2025
Position Overview
Phaxis Education is actively seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to serve students across all grade levels in Gardner, MA for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. Whether your expertise is in elementary, middle, or high school settings, this is your opportunity to lock in a meaningful, full-time role where you can support diverse learners and truly make a difference.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IEPs aligned with each student’s needs and goals

  • Provide direct instruction in academic, behavioral, and life skills

  • Use data-driven strategies to track progress and adjust instruction

  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff

  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
Qualifications

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred

  • Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work in the U.S. Without sponsorship
Job Details

  • Position Type: Contract with potential for renewal

  • Caseload: Varies (PreK–12 options available;matched to your strengths)

  • School Year: 2025–2026

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
