Phaxis is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time opportunity in Darlington, SC. This is a great chance for an experienced educator to make a real impact in the lives of students while enjoying competitive pay and excellent benefits from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide direct instruction and support in both small group and one-on-one settings.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress and success.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse learning styles of students.
