Phaxis is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time opportunity in Gardner, MA. This is a great chance for an experienced educator to make a real impact in the lives of students while enjoying competitive pay and excellent benefits from day one.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide direct instruction and support in both small group and one-on-one settings.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress and success.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher certification.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse learning styles of students.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.
