Location: Central Point, OR 
 
Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Caseload Details
  • Hours: Full-time, part-time candidates may also be considered 
  • Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School options available
  • Commutable to Central Point, OR, daily
Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Job Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or completion of an SLPA certification program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as an SLPA (as required by the state).
  • Experience in a school setting or pediatric experience preferred
  • The ability to work in the U.S. Without a sponsor

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct speech-language services to students as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist with the implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans.
  • Document student progress, maintain service logs, and prepare reports for review by the supervising SLP.
  • Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling sessions.
  • Support data collection and assessment activities under supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Follow all federal, state, and district regulations related to special education and therapy services.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.
