Are you a certified School Psychologist looking for a full-time school-based job in Wheeling, Illinois? Phaxis Education is actively recruiting a licensed professional to provide direct psychological services and support for K-12 students in a collaborative educational setting.

Job Type & Details:
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • K-12 caseload across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • On-site role Wheeling, IL public schools
Requirements:
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Active Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement (or pending)
  • Previous experience in a K-12 or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

School Psychologist Job –Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations (academic, cognitive, emotional, behavioral)
  • Lead development of IEPs, 504 plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Deliver short-term individual and group counseling for students
  • Support crisis response and behavioral intervention when needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement MTSS and RTI strategies
  • Document services and assessments in accordance with IDEA, state, and district compliance standards
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and multidisciplinary team planning

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.
