Phaxis Education is seeking a full-time licensed onsite or hybrid School Psychologist for a middle school in Plainfield, Illinois. If you're a results-driven professional who understands the demands of middle school settings and thrives on data, collaboration, and direct student impact, this role is built for you.

Job Overview –School Psychologist (Middle School, Grades 6–8)
  • Location: Plainfield, IL
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (on-site or hybrid)
  • Caseload: Middle School students
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard school hours

School Psychologist Job Qualifications:
  • Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology (required)
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (or eligibility)
  • Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
  • New graduates are welcome to apply

School Psychologist Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support special education eligibility and student planning
  • Develop, interpret, and contribute to IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling based on student need
  • Collaborate with educators and families to implement data-based interventions
  • Support RTI/MTSS processes and assist in crisis prevention and response
  • Maintain all documentation in compliance with IDEA, state, and district requirements
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment through direct and consultative services

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

Drew is a seasoned executive with more than 13 years of Services & Recruitment experience. Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina.
