Job Description

Title: School Psychologist
Location: Winnetka, Illinois
 
Phaxis Education is hiring a licensed School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based position in Winnetka, IL. This is a district-level opportunity supporting K–12 students across three campuses. We welcome both experienced professionals and new graduates with a master’s or doctorate in School Psychology who are ready to make an impact in public education.
 
School Psychologist Job Overview
  • Schedule: Full-time preferred (part-time considered)
  • Caseload: K–12 students across 3 school buildings
  • Setting: Onsite or Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days virtual), school-based role in Winnetka, IL
School Psychologist Candidate Requirements
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology (required)
  • Valid Illinois PEL license with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and behavioral planning skills
  • Clinical internship or prior school-based experience preferred
  • New graduates are welcome to apply and will be supported

School Psychologist Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations (academic, cognitive, emotional, behavioral)
  • Write and implement IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and mental health support to students
  • Serve as a key contributor to MTSS/RTI and data-driven intervention processes
  • Partner with educators, administrators, and families to promote student growth
  • Assist in crisis response and behavioral strategy planning
  • Maintain documentation that aligns with IDEA, state, and district compliance

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.
