Location: Chesterfield, SC
Pay Rate: Up to $50 / hour
Reports to: School Principal
Job Type: Contracted - Full-time

As a High School Teacher in Chesterfield, SC, your days will include providing direct student care such as:  
  • Develop and deliver standards-based, differentiated instruction aligned with the curriculums for Geometry and Statistics
  • Establish a classroom environment that promotes respect, engagement, and student achievement.
  • Assess and monitor student learning through formative and summative evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, specialists, and administrators to support individual student needs.
  • Integrate technology and instructional tools to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
  • Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events as required. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Valid state teaching license/certification in Math or appropriate content area.
  • Experience in teaching or student teaching within the subject and grade level.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and use data to inform teaching practices.
Preferred Skills:
  • Culturally responsive teaching practices
  • Familiarity with IEP/504 processes 
  • Proficiency with educational technology platforms (e.G., Google Classroom, SmartBoards)
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
