School Nurse (RN or LPN) –St. Louis, MO | 2025–2026 School Year | 1: 1 & School-Based Roles Available Location: St. Louis, MO Pay Rate: $30–$50+ per hour (Negotiable based on experience) Start Date: August 2025 Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible)
Position Overview
At Phaxis Education, we recognize that student health is foundational to academic success. We're actively interviewing for Licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for the 2025–2026 school year in the St. Louis, MO area.

Openings include 1: 1 support roles as well as school-based nurse positions. Whether you're looking to work directly with a medically fragile student or support the broader school community, we have options to fit your preference and experience level.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily health services and monitor students with chronic or acute medical needs

  • Administer medications, treatments, and medical procedures in accordance with IEPs or care plans

  • Deliver 1: 1 support for students with complex medical conditions (as assigned)

  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication with school staff and families

  • Respond to school health emergencies and provide first aid as needed

  • Participate in IEP or 504 meetings when medical input is required

  • Ensure compliance with Missouri health regulations and school district policies
Requirements

  • Active Missouri RN or LPN license (required)

  • Prior pediatric, school-based, or 1: 1 experience preferred

  • Ability to manage medical equipment (e.G., G-tube, seizure protocols, etc.) is a plus

  • Reliable, compassionate, and adaptable with strong communication skills

  • Eligible to work in the U.S. Without sponsorship

  • Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time (flexible based on assignment)

  • Caseload: Multiple openings including 1: 1 nursing and school-wide nurse support roles

  • Position Type: Contract with option to renew
