Occupational Therapist (OT) –Revere, MA | Short-Term School Contract with Potential to Extend Location: Revere, NY Pay Rate: $45–$55+ per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Contract Dates: Start of 2025–2026 School Year through November
Option to extend for the full school year based on district needs and fit
Position Overview
At Phaxis Education, we specialize in connecting passionate therapists with meaningful school-based opportunities. We’re currently seeking an experienced or early-career Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in the Revere, MA area for a short-term contract through November, with the possibility to extend for the remainder of the school year.

This role is ideal for someone looking to make an immediate impact at the beginning of the school year—with the flexibility to evaluate future commitments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’fine motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skill needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs/504s) tailored to each student’s specific goals and educational needs.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to recommend accommodations and strategies that support student participation and success.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, progress notes, and service logs.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and parent conferences.
  • Educate school personnel on the importance of sensory and motor development in the learning environment.
  • Stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes affecting occupational therapy services in educational settings.
  • Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and federal laws such as IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
What You Bring

  • Current Massachusetts State OT license (required)

  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work in the U.S. Without sponsorship
