Special Education Teacher –3rd to 5th Grade | Full-Time | Pierz MN
Location: Pierz, Minnesota

Phaxis Education is currently hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support 3rd–5th grade students in a school-based setting in Pierz, MN. 

Special Education Teacher Job Summary:
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time hours
  • Grade Level: 3rd–5th Grade Caseload
  • Location: Onsite position in Pierz, Minnesota
Special Education Teacher Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
  • Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate a range of learning styles
  • Implement positive behavior support strategies to maintain a productive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers, specialists, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent-teacher conferences
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with IDEA, Minnesota state regulations, and district guidelines
Special Education Teacher Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education (required)
  • Active or pending Minnesota teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not available)
  • New graduates are welcome and will be supported

Drew is a seasoned executive with more than 13 years of Services & Recruitment experience. In that time, he has supported numerous Fortune 100/500/1000 organizations across industries by providing global workforce solutions, namely resources and thought leadership for large-scale projects, implementations, and managed services.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
