Job Title: School Psychologist
Caseload: Elementary
Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
Job Type: Onsite or Hybrid position
 
School Psychologist Job Overview:
  • Job Type: School-based contract with renewal potential
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time hours, Part-time and Hybrid candidates will also be considered
  • Caseload: Elementary school students only
  • Location: Onsite or Hybrid at a public school in Arlington Heights, Illinois
School Psychologist Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
  • Participate in the development of IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide individual and small group counseling services for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive, evidence-based strategies
  • Assist in crisis intervention, MTSS planning, and RTI consultation
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA, Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) guidelines, and district standards
School Psychologist Required Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology (required)
  • Active or pending Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
