Physical Therapist (School-Based)
Location: Jefferson, PA
Pay Rate: $50 –$60 / hour (DOE)

As a K–12 school-based Physical Therapist in Jefferson, PA, your days will include:

  • Providing direct treatment aligned to IEP goals for students in elementary and high school settings.

  • Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations;developing individualized treatment plans and progress reports.

  • Collaborating with IEP teams, classroom staff, and families to support student access and participation.

  • Documenting services and progress in accordance with district, state, and IDEA requirements.

  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to accommodations, modifications, and equipment needs.
Job Details

  • Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting

  • Start/End: ASAP –End of School Year

  • Hours: 8–20+ hours/week (Monday–Friday;schedule may vary by student need)

  • Settings/Grades: Elementary and High School

  • Caseload: ~8 students, up to 2x/week each

  • Interview: Virtual
Successful Candidates Possess

  • Education: DPT or equivalent from an accredited PT program

  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license (required)

  • Experience: Pediatric or school-based experience (preferred;new graduates welcome)

  • Eligibility: Ability to work in the U.S. Without sponsorship
